Respect the man who's redefined what a glorious European night is to Liverpool Football Club. Dont act like a spoiled brat if, just for once, the man fails to add to the memories which will stick to you for the rest of your life.

Whatever happens tomorrow night, one man is responsible for giving all of us some of the best moments of our footballing supporting lives. Never forget that or be ungrateful. Be there for him, if only to thank him.

Hence

Am i suppose to be relief that after this sem , is gonna be the final curtain call for my college life. Oh wait , there's masters to follow on . Speaking of years and years of education , this sem might as well be the 1st in long time that i have gave effort in to .
Also on the other hand , these modules that is installed for sem07 , is some money sucking subjects.
Even a God damn prototype using powder form has cost me a few hundreds or so. Pity those who paid 700 + for theirs too LOL.

U've noticed that it had been a farking long time since i last updated , maybe you should tell me why i isolated this blog cuz i dun even know why mannnnn.

Anyway , i've just slept this noon to wake up to some stupid shit i was put in . Call it lame or what, i dun even reckon the title that we shared are even labeled correctly . It's an overstatement perhaps. Avoid conflicts then i thought , i drop my weapon to fight for another day.

Liverpool are in danger . When every supporter asked for Rafa's head after a terrible run of shitty results. I mean come on , we are not sacking him it's nor mainly because we can't afford the 20million pay up .It's certainly because, i finally knew how the job at liverpool is only suitable for Rafa . Please let me enlight u with this post .

Rafa's signing and a close look at the money.

In order to try and dispell a few media fuelled myths that sections of our fanbase seem to have swollowed; here's the full list of players he's signed since he's been at the club (please read the summary below):

2004/05

£2m - Josemi: peanuts and was moved on in a swap for Kromkamp 18 months later
£1.5m - Antonio Nunez: part of the Michael Owen deal and filled a gap for a while. Peanuts.
£10.7m - Xabi Alonso: Massive success and sold for £30m+ in the summer when he wanted to leave
£6m - Luis Garcia: Massive success and sold to Athletico Madrid for £4m
Free - Pelligrino: Stop gap that allowed us to rest Sami for league games, benefitting us massively in Istanbul. Now on the coaching staff.
£6.3m - Fernando Morientes: Pretty much everyone made up when we signed him, top class, but never settled. Sold for £3m to Valencia.
£1m - Scott Carson: One the most highly rated young keepers around. Lost out through injury and signing of Reina when Dudek left the club. Sold for £3.25m.

Total bought: £27.5m

Free - Marcus Babbel: Released to Stuttgart at the end of his career.
£2.5m - Danny Murphy: Xabi Alonso signed to fill the role Murphy had in the side

A total of £16.5m net spend in his first year at the club, with the vast majority of that being spent on Xabi Alonso.

Unkown - Miki Roque: Kid bought for peanuts. Sold again for an unknown amount.
£150,000 - Jack Hobbs: Highly rated 16yr old signed from Lincoln. Didn't progress as hoped and sold to Leicester for a reported £1.5m, although figure not confirmed.

£6.7m - Jermaine Pennant: Second choice after missing out on Alves. Ran his contract down and released. Attitude stank.
£9m - Dirk Kuyt: Has his critics, but has been brilliant for the money. 15 goals last season from wide and vital to the way we play. Ultimate pro. Great signing.
£200,000 - Nabil El Zhar: Few cameos last season and improving. Injured now. Promising still. Peanuts.

£2.5m - Alvaro Arbeloa: Bargain signing, great service for a few years and sold for £3.5m when running his contract down.
Loan - Javier Mascherano: Rescued from West Ham, now one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and will probably be sold to Barca this summer for a massive profit. Paid £18.6m for him a year later at end of loan deal.

£200,000 - Zak Whitbread: Youngster
Undisclosed - Bruno Cheyrou: Houllier flopped, sold for a reported £1.5m.

£1.75m - Jan Kromkamp: Nunez bought for £2m, swapped for him, who then sold for £1.75m. Stop gaps at minimal expense.
£525,000 - Darren Potter: Acadamy lad, not good enough and robbery getting that much for him.
£1.5m - Steven Warnock: Probably sold to cheap and looks a mistake with hindsight. Good squad player.
Free - Salif Diao: The clearout of Houllier's flops continues.

Total sold: £10.15m

2006/07 net spend: £17m

£5m - Yossi Benayoun: Took a while to settle but now a key player. Superb signing and an absolute bargain.

Total Players Bought: £228,976,000
Total Players Sold: £145,100,000

Total Net Spend: £83,876,000

So, that’s a total spend of just over £83m in 5 years at the club. An average of £16.6m a year.

The vast majority of his signings have been sold at profit, or if still at the club, are worth a lot more than we paid for them. Exceptions being Babel and Dossena, but we’ll still get decent fees for them when sold as they’re full internationals.

A lot of the signings above have been stepping stones in rebuilding the squad, gradually improving it by replacing players with better ones. Our league positions over the past 5 years and the improvement in our league positions and points totals show the progression.

2004/05: Finished 5th – 58 pts
2005/06: Finished 3rd – 82 pts
2006/07: Finished 3rd – 68 pts
2007/08: Finished 4th – 76 pts
2008/09: Finished 2nd – 86 pts

Is it any coincidence that the progression seems to have stopped this summer? Look at the transfer activity above for this year and it might explain why.

We have a wage bill that is the 5th highest in the league. We can’t afford to pay players £70,000 to be sat on the bench like United and Chelsea can.

Rafa Benitez’ record with signings at the top end of the market is nothing short of brilliant. Robbie Keane being the only flop, but he was sold 6 months later and only a small financial hit taken on that mistake. Rick Parry agreed the fee for buying him in the first place, and common knowledge Rafa wasn’t happy with it; feeling it was far too high.

Where has this myth come from that he’s wasted money on shite players? Have a look through the lists above and try to point them out. There isn’t many.

The ones that haven’t worked out he’s moved on, and not very often has he made a financial loss on them.

The squad is now worth a hell of a lot more than the one he inherited, and that £83m net spend over 5 years is easily offset by the increased value of the squad. He’d recoup nearly all of that through the sale of Torres alone!

He’s worked absolute wonders with the money he’s had to spend. Then take into account the massive amounts of money he’s self generated by reaching the latter stages of the CL every season. Two final appearances, one win. That £83m he’s spent he’s earned the right to spend.

And when comparing it to what United have spent in the same period is flawed, as they already had a title winning squad and all the foundations in place. They weren’t rebuilding from scratch like we were. It also doesn’t take into account their massive wage bill.

When comparing to Chelsea, they spent all their money before Rafa came to the club and just topping up an already established squad.

Man City have spent more than double in the past 12 months than Rafa Benitez has in his 5 year reign.

Do some people still want to get rid of him? If so, you’ve been listening to Martin Tyler's Monkey and the hairy-handed halfwit for too much and unable to look at the facts yourself to form an opinion.

Every manager makes tactical mistakes. Every manager makes mistakes in the transfer market. Despite what the press seem to think; Rafael Benitez appears to make less mistakes than most.

We’re expected to win the league and European Cup on a budget and wage bill that is entitled to finish 4th or 5th in the league. We’ve been overachieving under Rafael Benitez, not underachieving.

I’m not even going to mention the environment he’s working in under them two clowns.

You’ll only miss him when he’s gone….

Oh yea for those idiotic cibais, who goes on and off with Arsenal and Man U . Please stfu. It only makes u looked awfull.

Reds till i die.

Lotus Incident

Had a drink at Lotus just now with my futsal pals.
Being the regular customers there, i ain't going to get myself in hot water with the waiters there.
The rule number one when u dine in a restaurant, NEVER EVER screw the waiters.
Why not?
If the waiter is being vengeful , u'll find some extra ingredients in ur food / drinks you order.

Shu Hwai has his own go on another hand.
When he saw a fly floating happily in his 3 layer tea, his reaction was so big that he actually flicked the fly together with the ice out of his drink.

The most heroic part of all is ,
he complained to the boss of Lotus , the quote of the day :
" I am not seeking for refund, i just wanted you guys to get improved "
The best quote by SH. Wong in 2009 , give him a round of applause * clap clap clap *
The hero then packed his shining armour, slot his sword of wisdom in to his back, getting his pay of rm 2.50 back , drove us off in his Orange supercar/pumpkin car .

But i do hope the incident ends here,
because certainly , i hope there's no episode of LOTUS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN WAITER.

* Sorry no pics , because i am not starring in it *

This is FAMILIAR

Occasionally , i find some situation a lil cliche . Like i've been through it , or i did it on someone else .
Sometimes i can see what's coming , either the good or the bad. Certainly , we just welcome the good stuffs with an open hand , and avoiding the bad to come face to face with ya.

Just i notice, sometimes i find myself a lil dumb ( yea that's coming from me ) . Dumb as in , i've been tru the similar situation i'm facing , knowing that the result will be no other than a negative conclusion. Yet, i still stood by , naively thinking that the situation will take a twist and ends with a Happily Ever After. Is this the karma i am facing for letting down the people who brought good deeds and serve me nicely in life ? Well , hell knows.

Another thing i will whine about is , what i've became today .
I mean , i am not complaining for being who i am , but i am still trying to locate some parts of the good ol' me. There was once a very close friend of mine , she said " it's not everyone who will act that way ". Huge bitch slap on the face of Jack Chan, hohohoho. I wanna thank Yi Ying really , flashing facts after facts. She's like Mother Theresa Junior , too nice, and i mean really . The reason i found that we clicked so well as friends, is because she's probably the yang and i am the yin , that brings a balance between her's and my point of views. Maybe she thought i don't care anymore, but i do , or at least for the lunch she promised HARHARHAR.

Stop the whinning now, take a peek into my life.
Been up to ntg really , playing like a shit crap , holidays are fun but not meaningful .
Trying to rediscover myself again by fixing my puzzle of life.

Some random stuffs that i think it might worth ur time during the hols :

Sudden Attack - PEW PEW!

Gossip girl is really an entertaining series

playing with my father's old drinking gears, mixing pepsi + strawberry + cyrup = PEPAWRUP.
Don't worry i'll discover new receipe to my sparking cocktails.

A cliche quote , I've thought of saying something which meant nothing.
I want you, but i am not the one who could make u happy.

off to bed now, Finally .

Gossipnizers

There was this afternoon where i was watching TV at LiLi's.
While waiting for her bro to get ready , we tuned in the AIYO! HE SO CUTE, Gossip Girls .

Ok , so as the usual male who doesn't understand this kinda chick flicks ,the curiosity kicks in and i sat still to watch . LiLi was so happy to be the narrator " oh jack u dunno a ? " * pats head * " i teach u la ".

So the intro goes , and we entered the so amazing GOSSIP WORLD.
She intro her personal favourite gossip guys :

Nate aka Chace Crawford

Ok la , the guy is damn good looking but still looks gay to me .
So i go " yea , he looks good but gay also man "
She gave me the stare that spelt J-E-A-L-O-U-S.

Followed by :

Dan potrayed by Penn duno wat

And when there's a scene that hit this guy , Lili suddenly turned to me and said ,
" I am Chuck Bass " Exactly the same timing as the Chuck fellow was saying on the Tv screen itself.
Something similar to this.

( READ THE COMMENTS ON THE PAGE ITSLEF )

So this is basically the gossip girls' thingy , which the story evolves around these 3 men i guess.
And for an instant i just notice ,
Why am i sharing this shits with u people ?!
because i felt smarter and step a foot slightly deeper in to the girl's world , or is that a progress at all?
And i wonder when will be the day when a girl goes insane when i said : " I'M JACK CHAN "

GOSSIP GIRLS FTW.

But If We Started Dating It Would Ruin Our Friendship Where I Ask You To Do Things And You Do Them

By Kimberly Pruitt

==================================================================

I really like you. I do. You're so nice, and sweet, and you listen to all my problems and respond with the appropriate compliments. But, well, I don't really see a relationship in our future. It would be terrible if we let sex destroy this great friendship we have where I get everything I want and you get nothing you want. Don't you think?

I knew you would understand. You always do.

We're so perfect as friends, you know? I can tell you anything, and you know you can always come to me anytime you need to hear me b**** about work or how ugly I feel. You wouldn't want to ruin a friendship like that just so you could be my boyfriend, and have me look at you with desire and longing in my eyes, if only once—would you? Of course not. Well, if we started dating, it would only complicate this wonderful setup I've got going here.

It's just…you're like my best friend, and I would hate for something you desperately want to change that. I mean, sure, we could go on some dates, maybe mess around a little and finally validate the six years you've spent languishing in this platonic nightmare, but then what? How could we ever go back to the way we were, where I take advantage of your clear attraction to me so I can have someone at my beck and call? That part of our friendship means so much to me.

No. We are just destined to be really, really good friends who only hang out when I don't have a boyfriend, but still need male attention to boost my fragile and all-consuming ego.

Anything can happen once you bring romance in. Think about how awful my last relationship was at the end, remember? The guy I'd call you crying about at 3 a.m. because he wouldn't answer my texts? The guy I met at the birthday party you threw me? I had insanely passionate sex with him for four months and now we don't even talk anymore. God, I would die if something like that happened to us.

Plus, ick, can you even imagine getting naked in front of each other? I've known you so long, you're more like a brother that I've drunkenly made out with twice and never mentioned again. It'd be way too weird. And if we did, then whenever you'd come shopping with me, or go to one of my performances or charity events, or take me for ice cream when I've had a bad day at work, you'd be looking at me like, "I've seen her breasts." God, I can't think of anything more awkward that that.

Oh, before I forget, my mom says hi.

Anyway, you would totally hate me as your girlfriend. I'd be all needy and dramatic and slowly growing to love you. If I was your girlfriend, I would never be able to tell you all about the other ******* guys I date and pretend I don't see how much it crushes you. Let's never lose that. That's what makes us us.

Don't worry. You're so funny and smart and amazing, any girl but me would be lucky to date you. You'll find someone, I know it. And when you do, I'll be right by your side to suddenly become all flirty and affectionate with you in front of her, until she grows jealous and won't believe it when you say we're just friends. But when she dumps you, that's just what we'll be.

Best friends. Friends forever.

Stucked in Bob's shadow - Mr. Alex

"Are you watching Merseyside" the assembled United masses sang before the game in Rome that night. Yes, we are. And how we enjoyed it.

The United fan base have this unhealthy obsession with Liverpool, with everything they do being measured against our own achievements. They cannot play a single game without their fans singing about Liverpool. Everything they strive for exists at the other end of the M62. The odd blog from myself does not constitute hypocrisy on that front. We go to the game to support our own side and very rarely sing about others unless we happen to be playing them. The hatred and jealousy United fans have for us doesn't allow them to do that.

After living in our shadow for so long, they can now see the sun blazing down just a few steps away. Just a couple more strides and they'll walk from that shadow and cast one of their own as the most successful club in the land. They can see the light, and last night missed a huge opportunity to take another huge step away from that darkness.

Alex Ferguson postponed his retirement a number of years ago for one reason only; to win more European Cups.

He has continually stated himself, that to be classed as a truly great side you have to win at least 2 European Cups with the same group of players. You have to win the big one more than once. Thus far he has managed to win it twice, but with each being almost a decade apart. That night was his chance to achieve his dream and allow self congratulation of drawing alongside the man that casts a constant shadow over him; Bob Paisley.

Ferguson will not rest until he's equalled or surpassed the European Cup haul of Sir Bob. No matter how many league titles he wins, it's the European Cup that really matters, and the trophy that is still the holy grail for all, no matter what anyone says. It may be becoming a tedious competition, with the repetitive nature of playing sides from your own country time and time again, but it's still the one that sets apart the good sides from the great sides. Alex Ferguson will tell you exactly the same.

Arsenal and Chelsea have won the league in recent years, but neither of them have a European Cup to their name. Alex Ferguson has 11 league titles under his belt, but only 2 European Cups; and that hurts him. It also highlights just how special those European successes are.

There are 14 managers that have won 2 European Cups; Alex Ferguson just remains a name amongst that 14, with only one manager standing over the rest having amassed a collection of 3 European Cups. That man is Bob Paisley.

Ferguson might not admit it publically, but he knows that Bob Paisley is the greatest manager of all time. He knows that what Bob achieved in his time at Liverpool will never be surpassed.

Paisley - 6 league titles and 3 European Cups in 9 years

Ferguson - 11 league titles and 2 European Cups in 22 years

If Paisley had another 13 years in charge of Liverpool, giving him a 22 year reign, imagine how many European Cups he could have brought home.

He won the equivalent of 1 European Cup every 3 years. Ferguson has 1 every 10 years.

He won the league 2 out of 3 seasons. Ferguson has won it 1 in 2.

It's not even a contest.

Sir Bob

Barcelona's rome night exposed the lack of "greatness" about this current Manchester United side. The majesty of Iniesta and Xavi in midfield making the axis of Carrick and Anderson look second rate. That's £35m worth of Carrick and Anderson by the way.

£70m rated Ronaldo, £30m purchases Rooney and Berbatov and a £30m striker in Carlos Tevez all on the field for the last half an hour and could do nothing to even threat the Barcelona goal. £160m worth of attacking talent that offered hardly anything. A side put together for vast amounts and completely outclassed by Barcelona.

Where does Ferguson go from here? Open the cheque book again?

This summer is absolutely massive for both Manchester United and Liverpool. We are both level on 18 league titles and as closely matched on the field as we have been in decades. The moves made in the transfer market this summer by both clubs will be crucial in who takes the advantage come next May.

But one advantage I'm convinced Alex Ferguson will never hold, is the one that really matters when separating success from greatness; European Cup glory. We're staying on our perch Alex.

Half

So we've reached half of the year, so how was 1/2 of 2009 for u peeps.
Good?? Bad?? So So ?? ( Malaysian's OK OK LA )

Expect the unexpected, after 9128378127317 days, Alvin dropped smoking . CAN u handle that fact ?! ( unless he turns his back else where and smoke then memang we won't even have a clue about it) But i still freshly recall how the hell he hid the ciggys beneath his shoes during our Form5 days, cowardly sneaked down to the toilet itself , just to get his so called refreshment, and sometimes i was there, taking in the gang's 2nd hand smokes. fucking hero man.

I finally survived the reverse engineering project , HALLELUJAH !
Doubted i was , for the project. Reverse engineering it's stg like , ur trying to redesign a product which has already surfaced the market.
Example: Iphone = reverse engineered = Iphone 3G
Basically it's enhancing the product , providing it an extra features, and solving issues faced by the original product.
The presentation was this morning , and i guess it was a sweet smooth sailing for me .
After the presentation , i kinda get why Jonathan Ive stated , that an industrial designer is in a world of it's own that other art courses can't make a foot in .

There's only a few pics, i don't show off because i have ntg to show .
The actual product :

Anyhow ,
I came across two quotes i would like to share.
" When people are covered with hatred they tend to forget about love and they became selfish "
I guess that's true,
U can see people change with fame , ability , wealth .
people like these tends to forget about respecting others, what people gave em in the past, frens .
It's either they can't embrace those who's better than them , they can't bring themselves to congratulate others , and they think that they are the best .
Put it down to a full stop with "I've seen some , and i tend to leave some."

Another 1 ,
" Give More , Expect Less "
The only quote that sums up to who i am today .
